Meaning Behind the Piece:

Every other painting in The Infinite Mind holds a woman turning inward. Each figure is a portrait of deep inner communion, of an infinite mind doing what infinite minds do, which is feel everything and carry it with extraordinary care. And then there is Sweet Euphoria, and she does something completely different.

She came from a question I kept sitting with while making this collection. If The Infinite Mind is about women who carry enormous inner worlds, who hold more than anyone sees and manage it with a grace that rarely gets acknowledged, then what happens when that mind finally lets go? What does joy look like for a woman who has been so deeply present, so completely aware of everything she carries, when she sets it all down for one unguarded moment and simply feels? This painting is that moment. The infinite mind finding its rest not in more thinking, but in pure feeling. She has stopped analysing and stopped managing, and she is simply living the extraordinary, open experience of being alive and receiving it fully. The word sweet arrived before anything else did, and it stayed because this painting is not triumphant. It is tender. It is the joy that makes you feel a little vulnerable because you let your guard down enough to actually receive it.

This painting is for the woman who has held it all together for so long that she has almost forgotten what it feels like to simply let herself go.
