These paintings were not made to decorate a room. They were made to live in one, the way a person lives in a space, with presence, with weight, with something that shifts the atmosphere simply by being there.

Each work in this collection is an original, created slowly in my studio in Hertfordshire through layers of mixed media, acrylic, and oil, built up over days and sometimes weeks until something true begins to emerge on the canvas. No two paintings share the same surface, the same light, or the same story. When one leaves the studio, it exists nowhere else in the world. It becomes entirely and permanently yours.

My work belongs to a larger world I have been building across the years, a body of work exploring the many identities women carry within a single life. The women in these portraits carry strength and softness together. They hold complexity without apology. Their eyes are closed not because they are absent, but because they are completely present inside themselves, and that quality of inner certainty is what I am always reaching for, in the studio and in the work I send out into the world.
